Replacement Intake Tube!

Where can I find one for an 89 22re?

I need the rubber tube ~2.5inch that comes off the plastic tube and goes to the throttle body, the old one is full of cracks and my truck is running like crap, tape is a temp fix. I can't find this thing anywhere, and the junkyard has nothing either.

Dealer part, just about everything you find at a junk yard will be in the same shape as the one you have.

Let me check the storage unit tomorrow. I might still have mine out there in the pile and you can have it for shipping.

Good call on the ebay suggestion, found a replacement tube for $23, looks the same as the original. I'm surprised that ebay of all places has such a good parts selection, even though its a little sketch sometimes.

Can't you just go to Lowes or home depot and find some rubber tubing of the same diameter? I believe my local carquest has them that thick also.

Rockauto.com sells one for the 3.0, not sure about the 22RE. Way cheaper than the dealer and it looks just like the factory part. It is called the Air Cleaner Intake Hose, for the 3.0.

I tried the lowes/home depot idea.. no luck, nothing the right diameter. Never tried carquest, but autozone/advance had nothing but cold air intake junk that's overpriced.

I got my ebay tube in the mail in 3 days

My local carquest had a rubber tubing setup with rows and rows of different sizes, from the smaller vacuum lines to the larger radiator hose sizes.
