replacement engine/bottom end? v6 4runner
currently drive a 92 4x4 pu with a 22re as my winter/daily.
i have the opportunity to pick up a 92 4runner with a suspected spun rod/bad bottom end.
the heads were recently rebuilt so should be all good.
im just trying to figure out what a new motor would cost from a yard or such.
could pick this up for under 1500 (which i think most of the mods are worth alone)
4 inch pro comp lift, racho 9000 shocks i believe, rear leveling kit, 33'' bf goodrich AT tires, detroit tru lock rear lsd, 5.33 gearing.
im mostly used to modding and building euro cars, only really done basic stuff on my yota.
thanks

You could probibly pick up a used 3vze for under $500 in decent shape. Then part out what you don't need...
As for the Add. Those tires are not All terrains, unless he changed them out. And the 5.33 gearing. I don't recall ever seeing this as an option for toyota axles. Closest to that would be either 4.88 or 5.29.
