Removing Wrist Pins

I've read through my manual on everything to do about rebuilding the engine but it doesn't seem to mention about this specific part.

How exactly do you remove the wrist pins from the pistons on a 22RE? Are they held in place by a clip for one or both sides, or do they have a fristion pad on the end, so just slide out. I've seem both styles in the past. I'm sure it'll be pretty clear once I get the pistons and rods out, I just wanted to check before hand.

Thanks.

If I remember right there were clips. Once removed, you can tap out the pins.
