I hope no one was referring to what I said, it's just my humble opinion that if a person has to ask what they can & can't remove; then it's probably a good idea to leave everything as is. The lines are there for a reason & just un-plugging things can cause trouble if you don't know what you're doing.

What is it with everyones race to pollute as much as possible? Did Dick Chaney take of the board? What's next, Using animal fat or u-joint grease? Burn the trails with nuclear tar as fuel after you ride on them?

I just don't get it? I see virtual glee of destruction in the eyes of yota drivers now, instead of what I thought were like minded in that we are driving what was originally cutting edge, well engineered vehicles. I see people taking their vehicles back to pre 70's regardless of the potential harm it does to everyone around them.
I thought that was relegated to guys driving old C-10's with tough guy stickers in the back window.

Go preach that in China where nobody has any regard to air pollution. My point being that I want a cheaper to run, better performing, healthier engine NOW. Before the gas is all gone and we're screwed, PERIOD. Not gonna be that long, even according to the optimists. I do hate to bother you with my version of a stark reality, as I see it. And, at least I haven't contributed to the REAL GLOBAL CATASTROPHE on the horizon, which is OVER-POPULATION.

That kinda flawed logic won't float too long on my watch.

Great, so because we have over population, it is better for us to disconnect emissions controls? That logic is messed up, but I suppose that killing people off with air pollution is a way to deal with the population issue.

Toyota spends more money to add vacuum hoses and emissions stuff. They arent helping themselves financially by making your engine compartment cluttered, therefore, they wouldnt add the stuff if they didnt have to.

The Chinese know they have screwed themselves, and are having to deal with it. That is no reason for you or me to shoot ourselves in the foot by emulating their disregard for air quality.

I hear ya, I do. Won't argue a word of it. Truth of the matter is I'm a non-conformist, extreme-skepticist, controversy engineer. I try to live by the motto "There's more than one way to skin a cat". If I live long enough to suffer under climatic effects, to which I knowingly contributed to, I'm still blamin' the Chinese, sorry. Then and only then, I'll be pissed at myself a little.

I know this is a seperate topic, but I truly feel that I deserve a HUGE credit, from somebody, for making the decision not to procreate. There oughta be a law regarding that. Hell, if you'll march in protest with me, I'm all over that one.
