removing my grill

i have a 94 v6 4x4 and i'm in the middle of trying to replace my headlights. so far i have my top snaps on my grill unsnapped and i'm trying to get the bottoms ones done. However its not going as smoothly as the top. do i need to remove my bumper do so?

thanks

I don't remember 100% but I'm pretty sure I had to remove my bumper to get the grill on and off. But that's also strange because I'm able to replace headlights with my grill on.

i'm replacing the entire housing not just the bulb. i'm in the process of putting in a hid kit which requires a different housing.

It's super super tight without removing the grill.

Its really easy (or at least I think it is). Just undo the corner lights, and push down on each little plastic tab.

While you're in there, cut out that toyota horn and put a real horn in!

I have a 90 4runner, and I was able to get the grill off without taking the bumper off.. It took some wiggling though. Good luck!
