this all reminds me of the time I took the keys out of a friends van. I turned the ign clear back (accesories was setup to where you turned it back from off), to accessories, and pulled the key out. He practically died when he saw the radio was on when he got back. We both prayed that the key would go in and turn, and it did. Go figure.

Reminds me of our old 87 f-150. We hardly ever locked it since it looked pretty rough, didnt need the key to start it. That proved handy quite a few times

well if u roll the longer the truck is running the more damage its going to do, i still use the worn out key because the copy i have unlocks the drivers side and starts the truck but wont open the passenger side or the gas door

doh I see what you meant about rolling it, I didn't think about the keys falling out. Never have had that luxury, haha..

well in the event of a rollover, which i hope never happens to me, my keys are likely to hit me or my passenger in the face.

maybe your passenger will have their mouth open at the time screaming or something and catch em for ya...

if i ever rollover I just hope I don't catch a toolbox in the face.. i got everyting wedged in and tied down pretty well but I'm still paranoid about that...

Yeah, that is pretty bad too hehe... well I don't have a garage at our current house, and my wife owns a lot of stuff (or I guess it's just a small house ).. so I keep most my tools in the truck.. as well as fluids, and water and a sleeping bag and stuff. But I figure it could all come in handy out in the woods someday. I know the fire extinguisher isnt going anywhere.. got it mounted to the inside by the rear drivers side door.
