Removing headlamps

I know, stupid question. The securing screws around the bezel of the headlight has rusted. Is there a way to remove the entire headlamp assembly so I can replace the lamps themselves along with the hardware?

86 pickup.

You can unscrew the two adjuster screws all the way and release the springs and pull the lamp out that way. You will need to align the headlights afterwards. Might try marking where the beams fall on a garage door or wall before and that way to can reset them close afterwards. Put in a set of H4 lamps and in the future you only need to swap out the bulbs in back of the lamp instead of replacing the whole assembly:

what i did when i put my new front end on was i took a disk sander to the head of the screws holding the headlights in and grinded them down, try sanding on a low speed. then drill through the rest of the existing screw holding it in and put some larger diameter stainless sheet metal screws....do this only of course if soaking the screws in wd-40 or something like that doesn't work first.

ps. you need to take off the grill to do this.
