Removing CVs?

I know they unbolt at the center section but how do I get them out of the hubs? Do i have to take the hubs off and is there something inside holding it all together?

The cv's are held in place on the inside of the hub by a snap ring and a center hub bolt. You'll have to remove the hub flange in order to remove the snap ring and center bolt. Then you'll be able to slide the cv out.

youll have to knock at least of 3 of the studs off the inner axle flange in order to slip the inner joint out. otherwise you have to bust a ball joint loose (no thanks)

i you search youll see what im talking about.
