Rebuilt Motor. When to do interstate?
I am gonig to change do the 500 miles oil change on my 22re. IT is running great. I have been doing the usual break in of varying the RPMs, but when is it a good time to try the interstate?

Just don't drone along at one steady rpm for awhile.
I do not baby a new engine after initial break in.
Just no steady rpms for awhile.I also like to load and unload, meaning wind it up in a gear (usually 3rd) and let off in gear- I think this seats the rings well.
If you have been doing this for 500 miles it is probably broken in.
