Rebuild Time...

Well, a blown head gasket and 2 months of talking to people (including my DMV) about pros vs. cons of reman'd motor vs. rebuilt motor vs. chevy 4.3L vs. 3.4L , i have decided to rebuild what i have. I have been in contact with a machine shop to start this process. I have never been thru this before.

Any and all are welcome to contribute their opinions, tips, tricks, prices. If you would rather keep things private, then I welcome P.M.'s.

This is where our Toyota vendors can help, also people who have experienced a rebuilt motor.
What I'd like to know is general pricing for processes and items needed to rebuild my 1988 3.0L, including if you went with colt cams (weasy2k) and any other "give me more" parts, headwork, etc.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies. I know I have read most all threads on 3.0L but don't be afraid to post me a link. I will re-read your thread.
