Rear Wiper

When using my rear wiper to wash the rear window, the wiper does not touch the window. I have to manually push wiper on to the window; but when the wiper seats itself after I am finished it goes back into original position back out of alignment. Vehicle is an 86 4 Runner.

Thank you and please help!

take the whole wiper arm assembly off, clean and lube it up. failing that, pick up a new arm, the spring inside will have more strength in it to keep the wiper blade against the rear glass.

What he said!

Mine did not touch the window either when I picked up my Runner. However I lubed it and the manually moved it back and forth, back and forth, and now it seats just fine on the window.

good luck!
