rear window nothing but click click

My rear window will not go back up. I hear a click when I try to roll it up but no movement or other sounds. I did read other posts and Roger Browns write-up but sounds to technical for me. Everything looks really clean, all grounds and connections look good. Motor or Relay?

Is the clicking from the front or the back? I ran into problems with the notches grinding them selves down, so the clicking was the gears slipping past each other. I ended up taking the door apart, and building up the gear material by welding and grinding.

Sounds like it is grinded to me too. If it was the relay or motor, you probably wouldn't hear any clicking.

Well I got kind of lucky because I found the problem right way. The first thing I did was take a test light and found I had power to the motor. So I bought one from the wrecker ($125) and it took about an hour to install. Works smooth and lot faster than before.
