rear window

my rear window rolled down completely fine yesterday it wasnt slow at all or anything. When i pust my key in the hole in the back it wouldnt go down so i thought to myself thats weird, so i tried the switch inside the car and nothing happend either. does this mean my motor went out?? considering it was perfectly fine yesterday?

You don't mention year or condition of tailgate. Do you even hear the motor "whirrr"? Is the idiot light on on the dash? Do you hear the warning beeper when using the inside switch (not sure if this beeper works on the key as my cylinder is toast).
Due to the condition of my tailgate my window comes out of the scissor mechanism, I can still hear the motor work though, it's just a matter of getting the window back in the mount from time to time.
Ohhh yah, do you hear the relay click inside the rear quarter?

Yea, listen for the relay. Most common place is in the side panel behind the driver or rear, driver's side passenger. Check your wiring between the body and tailgate - common place for pinches and corrosion. Pull the cover off the tailgate and check for corrosion.
