Question Rear Washer Pump Just Stopped Working

Went to use my rear washer to clean the glass and it just stopped pumping. I just used it earlier in the day and it worked fine. I tested the pump and it works. I just dont have any power coming to the pump. I checked the connection of the wires coming from the switch on the column and they are good also. I have to admit that I am not as good at electrical problems as mechanical problems. I am suspecting it is the wiper/washer swich on the column. Are there any electrical Guru's out there that may be able to point me in the right direction?

Oh yea. There are 2 pumps in the same reservoir and the upper pump is for the front and it works and the lower is for the rear and it doesn't unless I run a jumper wire to it, I would say yes. Not meaning to sound like a smarta@@. Cause I surely appreciate any help that I can get !
And by the way tc I got a check in the mail today from Toyota to reimburse me for the second alignment at the other dealership on the 50N recall.
Thanks for the suggestion on the washer pump !

Hmm. My rear washer pump went out last summer. (92 4Runner) But the connections on my two pumps were reversed, compared to yours. The top one served the rear window and the lower one for the hood squirters. I just went to the parts store and got a $12 replacement.

My 89's was dead when I got it, I bought the cheap one, but the wiring wasnt plug'n'go and the hose barb was too skinny to hold the factory hose. I returned it and paid 24 at the dealership, the extra 12 bucks was worth the time to not have to splice wires, and replace hose.

How cold is it where you are? I though mine went dead, then I looked into the reservoir and it (washer fluid) was frozen solid! This was when it was about 15 degrees out, so much for the claim on the supertech label!

Only around freezing but I use Prestone De-Icer solvent that is good down to -34. Haven't had the jug freeze yet. Thanks
