maybe try measuring the ones you have and add the height of the block? it's ok if the bolts are a little bit longer than you need, but too short and, well...i'm sure you can figure that one out...

Yes. Measure the current u-bolts and add 3" or so. You can always trim it down..

depends on what shape the inside of the u-bolts are coming in contact with. on a stock truck, they are up against the leafs/bump stop, hence the squared off u-bolt. if you have a u-bolt flip, they point upwards and come in contact with the axle, which is round.

are you sure you want blocks? so many other remedies that might be better for you.

What exactly are the other remedies ? AAL's are the only other one im familiar with... the only reason why I tried blocks is I had a kit lying around - i dont mind AAL's as long as i dont have to spend over $100 bucks and how hard are they to install vs. blocks ?

thanks

I am assuming you are using quality u-bolts (they are after all, the only thing holding your axle on the truck)......when you torque them down to the proper specification they will bend/stretch/conform around the axle tube. This is why typically it is not recommended to re-use u-bolts because every time they are torqued they stretch a little more weakening the bolt.

So...to answer the question...you need round ones
