I know what you're talking about but he may not...

You meant to say a 4" longer than stock shackle. If memory serves, stock is 3.5" so to lift 2" requires a 7.5" shackle eye to eye.

Btw, to whoever said chevies, you need to run like a 8-9" shackle with them to gain 3" of lift. To get the 2" he's looking for they'd probably work ok, but it sure is a lot of work to gain 2".

I'd go with a shackle too.

Dude, I'd just suck it up and do it the right way. The add-a-leafs, jeep coils, extended shackles...they all just cover up the real problem of the 15 yr old leaf springs being shot and needing replacement with a nice set of OME leafs, new shocks, and some BJ spacers up front . At least that's what I am doing to fix the "saggy butt" that you, me, and 75% of other Toyota owners have going on. If you do one of either of those fixes, you'll end up replacing them at sometime anyways. I ordered mine the other day from trdparts4u.com and should be getting them in next week. They said their prices are going to be going up soon so I guess I saved a bit by doing it now. I got a whole package, but I think leafs are under $300, possibly shipped. I forked out just under $1000 shipped for a front and back OME/SDORI lift kit minus t-bars.

You can always resell the extended shackles to someone else if you ever swap out the springs.

OH MAN you guys are lazy... throwin springs what not onto bump stops.... 7.5" shackles...

im waiting for someone to say "just stack some blocks up"

go to pull a part and get yourself a new set of junkyard leaf springs man... go pull some broncoII or late 70s ford 2.5" leafs, or some other toyota leafs, and add them alltogether (get rid of the AAL,) and make sure to use Toyota mains. BroncoII leafs have a good amounta of arch. while youre at it look for some longer shackles.

that wil be the best cheap option that isnt hooded out.

and you can keep your stock leaf springs mounts

hahaha seriously. Quick and cheap is nowhere near reliable. You'll just have to suck it up and do it the correct way.

Do it once, do it right.
