Rear Driveshaft Interchange

What length do you need? I have a drive shaft out of a 93 diesel automatic 4runner and it is (if I recall correctly) 44" collapsed length. It only has about 60K on it. I'll never use it in my P/U so let me know if you're interested.

Not true. Auto transmissions have a completely different bolt pattern at the transfer case output. The 2nd Gen 4runners are about 2" longer than short bed pickups or 1st gen 4runners. The length difference may only be on auto trannys though.

the difference is in the transmission. Auto transmissions are longer, thus having a shorter DS (~2") and the manuals are a little shorter, with a longer DS.
I get this from the measurements of the A340H auto found behind the 3.0 and the R150F found behind the 3.0 as well.
Try to measure the length of the tube end (not the slip end) and get a measurement that will not move depending on how much the yoke is pulled out.
