Rear axle locking after being in 4x4??
I have an 87 4runner 22re. Here's how the problem is caused. My truck drives just fine in 2WD and never have a single problem. When I decide to take it offroad and put it in 4WD, the hubs lock and goes into gear as it should, no problems there. I'm also able to unlock the hubs and drive home just fine.
The weird part is that once I get home and park the truck, parking brake on of course, the next time I drive go to drive it, the rear axle locks up and I have to wiggle the wheels for a while to break them loose. Both passenger side and drivers side wheels have to be broken free before I can drive; Then it's back to driving just fine with no problems.
I'm confused as to what could be causing this problem and why it's only after using 4WD and being parked.

I thought that might have been it as well but when I wiggle the wheel, I can see the drum move about half an inch. Maybe the parking brake pressure has been released but the pads at still sticking? Also, why would it only do it after being in 4WD? Or maybe it's the water from the creek causing the parking brake to stick?
