Question rear abs sensor

Hey, i installed a 4cyl third with 5.29's and a locker in my rear, it didnt have a spot for the abs sensor and now my abs light is obviously on, is there anyway i can trick my truck to think its there or some mod to get the light to turn back off, its annoying to look at

well yeah thats common sense i was asking if there was a trick that could be done to the plug to try to get it to turn off

Not really. Just remove the bulb, that way everything is still functional if you ever get around to installing a 3rd with abs.

Do you still have access to the old sensor on the original 3rd? If so, can you remove that sensor and plug it in to your harness? It might make the light go out. You need to do this because no one has.

yeah i tried pulling the sensor out of the third and as brittle as they are of course it broke, i really wanted to try that and see if it would work, do you have one laying around your shop zuk?

i really think rear only abs is a stupid idea does alot of good when your front tires lock up

I just did an elocker retrofit and thus the new third didn't have a spot for my abs sensor to plug into. I just ziptied it up to the frame and made sure that the part that went into the original diff was touching metal. Reason being, that sensor has a magnet in it, I figured if it was at least sensing something then it wouldn't throw a light.

It's been a week or so and no ABS warning light on while driving around.

nice ive already got mine zip tried .. but it was ripped out of the diff..
ill try maybe tacking it to something metal!

Keeps you from locking up the rear tires and spinning the truck. That's the theory, whether or not the ABS is good at its job or not, I don't know.

Just unplug the relay.Its at the right front fender near the firewall.I think it even says ABS relay.

I havethe same problem with my stock 93 third I did the black electrical tape over the light because it does get annoying.
