rattling on start and shutdown

Hello all i have had this rattling problem happening for a little while now and its gotten a bit worse so i figured id find out what it is, i already tried searching on it and i got nothing, the truck is a 1992 pickup with a 3.slo 4runner engine and an automatic :/

so here is the issue, it doesnt matter if the engine is hot or cold when i start it in the morning it rattles then goes away when the engine is started i never hear from it again when its running, it runs fine there is nothing different just that. When i shut it down as the pistons slow down from the shut down it rattles then also. If it idles too low it will do it then too

It sounds like the rods hitting but if they were i would think i would here it when its running, anyhelp is greatly appreciated itis my dd so i need some help!

It's a rod I know this from experience. Get a short block ready for when it goes or pull it now before it does.
