Radiator options?

I think the random jbweld patches are starting to deteriorate, may be time to replace the radiator. How much is one from toyota? Anything aftermarket?

I would go aftermarket, a yota OME is big bucks! See if there is a rad repair shop by you, they maybe able to fix yours for under 100 bucks.

If all else fails, id ont knowif yours willfit it but my 3.4L T100 can fit a radiator out of a fullsize GM truck. If you have an auto you may also wanna see if you can get a hayden trans cooler, it does help.

I replaced mine last Feb, haven't put more than say 5k miles on it and there is a huge difference in how it runs now too. I replaced the hoses in August with the water pump. I got the radiator at Autozone for like 100 bucks or so If I recall. You may wanna do your hoses too at the same time. It's an easy repair I did it and I have very little mechanical experience.

OMG! DO NOT get a Yota radiator...they cost as much as a new tranny! ($600?)

Definitely go aftermarket, but do your research first. Good Luck

I had my OEM rebuilt after it developed pinhole leaks (app 75K miles). When I had the HG replaced, I had the rebuilt OEM replaced due to pinhole leaks (156K miles). That one is due to be replaced soon due to pinhole leaks. I bought a radiator from Performance Radiator (http://www.performanceradiator.com).
