Quick TPS adjustment question

22re. Adjusting TPS. How far should I turn the screw in on the throttle plate? (to where the butterfly opens) don't tell me how far or how many turns...because I have a different bigger screw (wouldn't hold the small original one...so I replaced it) Thanks!

you should not adjust the throttle plate at all

unless you have a bench flow meter to calibrate the throttle against.

so, go back to fixing your engine.

Thats been too late...its supposed to be at 6 degrees per manual...I'm guessing it doesn't matter then...lol.

But the point is the screw fell out. Put a new one in...I don't want the throttle to stick

Okay I'll leave now

so, you've adjusted the throttle stop, whether inadvertantly or not?
out of concern... how many turns on the screw equals 6 degrees?

too many turns on the screw= too high idle.
