questions about installing temp/compass unit

questions about installing temp/compass unit
i have been thinking about installing a compass/outside temp unit into my 88 pu. I like the one that is in the ford exloyer that is mounted above the windshield . Has anyone else thought or done one of these mods?

There have been guys who have done something similar.

Another would be a monitor from a Hilux Surf https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/h...up-pics-94277/
Probably easiest is to pick up a rear view mirror from eBay that has the compass and outside temp built in to it.
