questions about fuel pump.

Okay. other day i was running low on gas on my way home going down our river road. and ran out of gas. went and got three gallons went back and put it in the tank. Went to start it. and it wouldnt start. it would start sometimes but wouldnt idle. it would just idle a little and stop like its getting no gas.

I was thinking fuel pump.

or maybe even fuel filter clogged.

Any ideaS?

Spray some starting fluid in the throttle body .. and see if it cranks . If it does then you may have a fuel prob.

First things First.

Efi Fuse.
Second, Im assuming you know how to pull codes, If so, Instead of pulling codes your going to want your wire or paper clip in the FP and B slots in the diagnostics port.
If it will run, We will go from there
