hey guys, i got a question. when you do a body lift do you have to add any extensions on to the brake lines or your shifter or anything? i want to go a 3 inch body lift and was just wondering what else i have to do for it in order to work properly?

Depending on your type of truck, you should check the following for repositioning (not all apply in all cases)

-Bumper mounting brackets (mandatory)
-Steering column
-Radiator (if you end up covering its ability to take air)
-Shifter (optional, but not that important)
-any ground cable or other connections from the engine to the body, remember that your engine will stay where it is)

Brake lines should be OK, unless they run through the body, check your truck. In any case, in my opinion, body lifts should not be more than 2 inches.

Why a body lift? Body lifts are the last thing anyone should install, IMO. They add nothing but longer body bolts and more of a headache if you decide to flop your rig.

i want to go with a 5" superlift suspension lift and then a 2-3 inch body lift so i can fit 35x12.50 comfortably. i know a few guys that just run the lift and they have some rubbing, so i figured a body lift would get me that little bit more of lift

Usually a 4" IFS lift + 2" body lift is plenty for 35s:
