bob98sr5 had em (former staff member) and he has a manual in his 3rd gen runner. not sure about yours.

check out the writeup on www.4runners.org

heres the exact link: http://4runners.org/writeups/stereo/index.html

should give you a rough idea how much they stick out past the stock kick panel. picture you are looking for is about 3/4 down the page.

I've got them in my pickup and they don't get in the way of the clutch at all. If anything they get in the way of the dead pedal but only slightly. if you get them, I recommend fabbing up some metal grills because they get kicked alot and the plastic ones that came with them are crap. I don't have any pics but if you still need some I'll get some up by tomorrow. You'll love the way they sound too regardless of the speakers you get because of how they are positioned.

mine have been color matched to the interior since this pic. made for 2nd gen bit fit nicely in a 1st gen. I also put the cups behind them with some sound deadening filler to make them sound nice.

I think I'm a bit late..

It's blurry, but does the job.
I think you'd have room with a clutch.
With an auto, I still have room to rest my foot on the dead pedal.

I was thinking of getting these Q-form enclosures, they look neat but I'm from Australia and drive a right hand drive 95 4runner
I think they will get in the way of the accelerator??? so was wondering if it would be better to install the 6.5" splits that i have in the door panel???
