I have been trying to buy a rebuilt PS Pump from Advance Auto, O'Reily, and Autozone all morning. They Advance and O'Reily are showing me there are 2 different styles, one for trucks produced before 12/87 ($56) and one for trucks after 12/87 ($125). My 4Runner is 4/88.

The ones that are before the cut-off date are really inexpensive, but the ones after are rediculous. Now, Autozone ($65) does not have a cut-off date on the one that they have. They are saying there is only one flat rate for all types.

I need yalls advice asap on this one. Which should i buy?

to be honest, I don't know what the difference would be. I'd probably do the autozone one and see how it matches up with what you have.

 

Are you able to pull yours off and take it in there with you?
