Project Snowball: Intake tube mod...
Well I decided to ditch the K&N kit because it sucks and I want to do a snorkel set up.
I must've tossed the stock toobage out long ago, and the K&N pipe was too short so I had to get creative, I used the second half of my CAI from my CivicSi and found some hose at NAPA for $17.00 a foot No one carrys 2 3/4in pipe couplers in this area.
I still need to hook up the big hose to the airbox and the valvecover hose to the intake tube, but what do I do with the middle hose? I don't have the resonator or the other little box it should plug into. What does that middle hose do?

Really? The Downey kit I used to run just had you cap it off. Stock, it is tied into the intake (where it can get fresh clean air, just like you said). When I redo my intake, I'll just tie it into the intake tube like the valve cover breather.

The middle hose is the powersteering and AC idle up, The power steering idle up should be a must, It really helps when your tires are up against rocks on the trail and if the engine seems to want to stall while turning hard this hose prevents that.
I suggest bending the metal part out straight and make the rubber hose Bend the metal part of it straight and you can ether gain more langth or it will alow the hose to bend just right and go under the fuel pressure regulator and past the oilcap tword the connecter you will be putting in, If not plug it so as to not cause an airleak but as you turn or run the AC the engine will idle down alittle.
As for the big hose, Just get a longer one and connet it to the airfilter wher it was before or you will be drawing dirt into you engine.
BTW, Did you sandblast your Plennum and TB ???, I like the look of blasted aluminum.
