Hello i just bought a prerunner bar used and i might say got a damn good deal on it. I was just wondering wat color i should paint it. my front end is already blacked out so i wanted to stay away from black. By the way my truck is blue. Any help is appreciated. Just want to now what looks good.

 

Safety orange? Tijuana Chrome or Gold (from a spray can)?

I'd say black. Matching your blue would look odd with the blacked out front end, in my opinion. Maybe a textured black like rustoleum's "hammerd" paints?

 

Get that reflective yellow roadside hazard paint. You can find it at some wal-marts. It's a bright bright bright yellow.

 

yeah i dont think i want to do anything bright.

 

i've seen some really good looking contrasts of flat black with gloss black.

like an underside that's all flat black, but all the suspension parts are gloss black. subtle, but cool.

same thing with a front end. grille and trim flat black, bumper and bar gloss black. then you're still sticking with the black n' blue scheme you have already. and with flat behind, the bar should "pop" in gloss.

well the front end is already gloss would it look right to make the bar flat black?
