POWERTRAX LOCK-RIGHT Locker
i installed my locker about year ago i have done lots of heavy hulling on pavment and lots of offroading and i have never had a problem with it yet. im running a set of 33x12.50 tires. i was just wondering if anybody else has had any experiances with them. i want to hear your powertrax stories.

I've had mine in for about 8 months now. Actually front and rear. Tire wear is a bit heavy on pavement. It barks at me every once in a while around corners. Offroad, works great, superior traction and all I have to do is push the skinny pedal. We do not get ice or snow where I live, but I have driven it in the snow at higher elevations. When it loses traction in the snow the back end tends to swing downhill in a hurry.
Overall, for my trail/hunting rig, I like it.

Come on guys, the OP had a serious question. Why do you have to be juvenile and sarcastic when you don't like somethin?if you have a story, great, post it, it will help those of us that are just starting out to decide whether we want to go with Lock-rites or not. If you don't have a story, what's the point in cluttering up the thread?

I, for one, was attempting to be funny. It seemed like the OP's questions were pretty much answered... It wasn't that I "didn't like somethin"
But then I thought everyone had seen "Back to the Future". I'm new here... I won't make the same mistake again. I'll keep my mouth shut.

OP: I've ran an Aussie in the back for 2 years now and I havent' had any trouble with. All round I like it. Driving a pickup with a rear locker and bald mud tires on ice is more fun than a power outage at an open-casket funeral.

Nope. The original post didn't contain a question, it just stated "I installed a Lock Right" or something to that effect.

OP: I too run an Aussie in the rear (same idea as a lock rite) and it does it's job well although in snow/ice the rear end will break loose and drift the rig down hill in a hurry. Although I must admit that part of that "break loose" is due to tires that are not made for snow/ice. This week I'm installing a Lock rite in the front of my rig and will post up results.

We want to hear your opinion whether you are new or not. Just because you are new doesn't mean you don't have anything to add, just remember to thoughtfully word it, also good grammar is always welcome. Basically do exactly the opposite of whatever I do.
