So I've got some loud and super-annoying chirping coming from my belts and I'm pretty sure that it's because this silver guy in the picture has been leaking and keeping my belt slick. What is the name of this piece first off and how do I remove it?

I'm guessing that there is a rubber seal I need to replace in there, but not sure. Thoughts? Thanks!

 

it looks like you could just pull it off the way you have int he picture there, looks like you have removed the one bolt holding that thing on. so carefully see if it pulls off, and if it does see if there's a seal that's worn or broken and if it is replace it.

what kind of truck /engine is this on also?
