power steering pulley
i know that this has come up several times on this board BUT i've tried all the recommendations and it will not come off. Can i keep it on and work around it? thanks

I'm assuming you are working on a 3.0L... it helps if you tell us what you're working on when you ask for help...
If so, then yes you can remove the PS pump to do the HG without removing the pulley.

^^ Really?? I would love to know how... I tried that when I was replacing my ps pump, and couldnt get the pump out because of a bolt behind the pulley. I loosened the bolt, but couldnt get it out w/o removing the pulley.

working on a 3.0. So i got it off last night but had to remove the pump while it was still attached to the bracket. seemed alot easier than taking off the pulley and you have to take it off later in the fsm anyways. I don't see why that isn't the recommended way to do it. just took off a nut and three bolts instead of messing around with the pulley.
