Power steering leak

I have a 1994 pickup v6 3vze that has a minor leak from the rear of the power steering pump. I was wondering if anyone has bought the kit to fix it because I cannot find out exactly which pn I need. It's between edelmann 8827 and edelman 8760. Any help us appreciated.

I am relatively mechanically inclined and I regretted installing my own seal kit. Long story short, it leaked just the same afterwards. Then I purchased a remaned after market and it was absolute crap. Finally, I got a donor car and used the box off that. Perfect.

Look at a junkyard if you haven't done so yet.

My 2 cents.

I installed a run-of-the-mill Duralast (Autozone) reman power steering pump 10 years ago, and it has worked perfectly. Autozone has them now for $61, and the seal kit is $14.

[In the back of mind I wonder if some of the reports on Yotatech of bad out-of-box parts is from someone wiping off their leaky component and returning it as "unused." Back on the shelf, and you get stuck with "testing" it for the store. Personally, I've never had a bad out-of-box experience. Maybe I shop in a better neighborhood ....]
