Power door lock

Power door lock
My drivers side door lock actuator is out. It clicks, but wont lock/unlock the door. My friend has one for the rear door. are they interchangeable? If not, does anyone know where I can pick one up for relatively cheap? I really don't want to spend $100+ on this repair.
PS also, does anyone have any experience with the aftermarket actuators? I KNOW I can get one of those pretty cheap (which kind of scares me.. LOL)
