Power to the Dist?

Have a 93 4 runner 3.o Should I have power going directly to the Dist.Via the plug ? I've searched & searched the threads but have not been able find any info on this topic,

This is a just a wild guess, but did you try, oh, the Service Manual? http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b.../9systemci.pdf

The g- terminal is probably the sensor power, but I have no idea when it is applied or what it would measure at. G1, G2, and NE are sensor outputs.
