License Plate holder/Lock

This is the Female side. i welded this to the tire holder back plate.

Here's the male license plate holder side.

Notice the Master Lock in my hand locking both pieces together. Even if the thieves manage to remove the nuts off the tire carrier they still wont be able to take my tire while still having this locking device there blocking the tire from getting out.

Hey guys!!!! I was going through a photo album today and I ran across a few pics of some of my old toyota's I owned in my younger years. Sorry not all of these are IFS rigs.
This one here is my very first toyota. It's a 1985 SR5. It was EFI however we put a 22r in it because the re was blown when I got it. It also had Jeep Wagoneer springs under the front lol. I traded a horse for this truck.

This truck here I bought for $200.00 and drove for over 2 years back and forth to high school. It's also featured in my year book as the most redneckest truck of all lol.

This truck here was the first one that I'd ever really modified. It's a 1987. I built this truck while I was in my senior year of high school. The bed is custom made by me. I used 84 chevy fenders for the bed although I added a lip to the fender using plywood and fiberglass. When I met my wife in 09 I purchased a 22/20r dirt track engine and put it in this truck. It was dynoed at 200 horsepower. It also put my truck on its side totaling it. I painted this truck Harley Davidson orange with gold metal flack.

And this was my first true restoration. This truck was a 1984 toyota pickup. I traded a 89 dodge Dakota 4x4 that I had swapped a 360 v8 into for this one. It was a complete truck when I got it. Painted silver and gray. I removed the cab patched up the frame. Painted everything swapped interior from blue to brown painted truck super white. Built a 22r engine out of all LCE parts. Custom made wooden bed. Sold for $2500 cause engine started rattling and I needed a reliable vehicle.

I used to hate stepsides, and as far as the newer (90's+) are horrible. but 80's and older are growing on me lol.
Lol... If your really interested let me know. I can give ya some pointers on what not to do lol. As soon as I find another set of step sides I'm building another. I really liked that bed. Not because I made it but it was different and unique.
might be a while before I do. I have to get the kinks outta the new transmission, it's in limp mode right now, and the O/D light is for trouble codes, problem is that light has been out for a while lol...
Dang i!t.. now I have to go to Ebay to buy Stompers and show my little guy how to make a 4x4 tracks out of Mommys throw rugs

thanks, I'm just hoping we adjusted the neutral safety switch wrong and thats the only problem.. we'd have to reset it then flash the computer (disconnect the battery) but we called the rebuilder and asked if we missed something, or that if we could try using my old one (without voiding warranties, which i already told my dad that isn't how things work, but he's set that he's always right so...)
bfm !!!! Chive on brother!!
