Post Your Pics!!!
Yes, I have a lot more I'm going to do I just got the thing running again and everything is new I maybe have 200 miles on the tires and all. O and they are all black top miles making sure it's going to all hold up before I get to seriousness off road...
I'm sure you guys realize that tires tread and size have very specific terrain applications and are not at all for looks . . . so snow wheeling or in something soft like sand or mud (that is deeper than your frame) is the only reason to run wide "flotation" tires. So this guy who snow wheels is the only one who can really say he has a reason to run wide. And every one who chooses tire height/width/tread by their looks is doing it wrong.
Also, lifting a vehicle is not the "best" choice, it is the cheapest. Doing the proper tubbing and cutting to run as little lift as possible while still being able to fully clearance the size of tire that is needed for the terrain is preferred.
Sorry to go on about it; but too many people suck up to over-wide mud terrains and 9+ inch lifts when some tall skinnies, some cutting/tubbing, and 2" of lift would have worked better.
As for the functionality of the larger tires I 100% understand. I would do the same if I were wheeling in the same type of terrain.
So I 100% apologize for the any hard feelings that my post may have made.
And as always keep posting pics guys. Trucks look great.

tell me that I should lift my truck more when I wheel this kind of terrain...
Well it has corbeau gts ll front seats and seat brackets, husky liner floor/cargo mats, defender roof rack, two 6.5 fog lights warn wireless, four 6.5 driving lights warn wireless, four 7.0 hid driving lights warn wireless, warn front and rear bumpers with brush guard, warn 8,000 lbs winch, 4" procomp lift kit with procomp aluminum skid plate, five 15" procomp wheels, five 33-12.50-15 Goodyear mtr's with kevlar... I'm sure there is more but two driving lights not in picture mounting them where jeeps often put two lights by windshield, and aluminum pro comp skid plate for four inch lift not mounted in picture... There is a lot of money put into this 4runner and lots more I still need to do a lot more... It never ends...
I and I also bought the 3" body lift for when I put my 302 into it for the Clearence and to allow better air flow... All tho I dislike body lifts but when I put a v8 into that small of a truck I would like just I little more Clearence. If you know what I mean. And thanks a lot it really means a lot to me I have put a lot of time and money into building this little toy..
here is my 95 runner, basically the way I got it. I did remove the rotted running boards and paint the tailgate (was red) and I did put the back bumper center on. Cannot do the sides yet since the previous owner covered the bracket holes with bodywork.
I never really posted any pictures of my 4Runner after I rebuilt the engine in September. So...

I need new tires badly. And wheel bearings/front brakes. But I do drive her quite a bit, when its above -10F. Anything colder, shes in the garage and I drive my Tundra.
Shes got about 800 miles since the rebuild

well it has 9 inch lift total. rough country lift kit 2'' coil spacer(and bj spacer) and 2'' body
35'' bf goodrich (searching for 36 maybe 37)
rear detroit locker and front locker
5.29's
rear tube bumper
i changed the cv axle once in 2 year of beating(not smooth on the pedal)
oh and its a 22re with 215k on it
for the height from the floor i dont really know i am 5'11 and my chin is at the bottom of the window
Yeah i maybe could clear 44's but without the bodylift the 35's were rubbing at full flex ...

Damn dude that's one hell of a tall truck. I'm surprised your center of gravity doesn't pull you onto your side when off roading. But then again We all wanna drive a big monster truck at some point in our lives. You're just living that dream for us
