Saw this second gen pickup today while driving to college. From the cab forward, it actually looked pretty decent. And yes...he is using a real estate sign as a bed cover...I would've gotten a better pic, but he was hauling some serious a$$ on the freeway and I couldn't keep up.


Being in college with a major in Mechanical Engineering, I have no time to work on the truck. I figure the least I could do is represent the best website on the face of the universe while at school. Sorry, my phone can't take good pics. Neither my truck, nor the sticker are pink in real life...

 

That would be a lot of fun to head out with some other 4runners. We have some jeep friends, but they're well.....jeepers

 

Hahaha.. Naaah neither of them are mine. Honestly I wouldn't mind the Taco. But they're both kinda too "over the top" for me. The ARB bumper is pretty BA, but I doubt that winch has ever been spooled out. I am pretty sure the green one has something bigger than a V6. It definitely doesn't sound like a Yota engine. Still kinda cool to see though. I apologize for the crappy cell phone pic quality. Normally my phone is great, but I didn't notice my 3 year old had gotten her paws on the lens again.

At first glance I thought that was the 99 freeway, where is that? I too find myself checking out the 1st and 2nd gen trucks and 4runners on my way home. Once in a while they are just as excited to see me as I am them.

 

That's either the 15 or 163 in san Diego county

Figured I throw up a couple pics of my 86 now that I'm home. I've cleaned the interior up, installed a new black mat in the cab and today I cleaned the extra set of wheels/tires and sprayed them black. More progress to come
