Got if off my grandpa who was 2nd owner as it was originally bought as an ac service truck. It's 2wd with 256k and ice cold ac! Only problem I'm having is a missing knock sensor and that damn 60 amp alternator. Do you know if an 89's alternator will fit in my 86?

Man you already know how I feel about your Runner. I am selling my '92 this Friday and will be looking to pick up another one that needs a motor and try my hand at a 3.4 swap. What mud flaps are those from? I could not find any a few months back and ended up with some pickup flaps (I was told) that didn't fit. Any further plans for it? SUHWEET 4runner.

Dumb question, but what does 1ton mean? Can carry 2000lb of crap in the bed? If so that's actually pretty amazing, comparing to modern 1ton trucks.

On mr alternators website it only lists alternators for year 89-91 which doesn't make any sence because as far as I know they both use the 280 type plug. And in the manual it says it's good for 2400 pounds which is alright for a small size, even though I'll never carry that much

Haha a kid I went to school with put a layer of sod in his bed and had a 'back yard'. Needless to say he wasn't very bright but it was pretty awesome. Stayed green all winter too.

Almost done the resto on my '93, got a bit of body work and paint left. and need a new door.
The bed's from a '00 tacoma. It's all i can find, for now. Not to hard to modify to fit..
