i recently brought my 87 back from the grave (3 year storage). removed 2" lift, swapped 32"s for 31"s, swapped weber for rebuilt stock carb (for now), took tool box, hi lift and spare out of the bed so i can actually haul stuff and most importantly gave it a new paint job. turned out good and i get a lot more use out of it as a daily driver then an off-roader. looking to convert it to fuel injection in the near future and maybe some day get back to wheeling it. but now i don't want to scratch the paint!

Hahaha..... Well, most likely. American Racing/OutlawII or outlaw I, i suppose, lol. They make most of those. I think they look great on a truck. Like em more than the solid/no holes centerlines.... just never liked those, personally.

And HEY, SPOKANE! Love the pick-up, NICE! I lived on Starr Road for a couple years, right on the lake. Went to East Valley High at that time, lol. Nice and snowy right now? Keep up the good work(customizing), ....sounds like you're really happy with her, and it looks great

LOL, it's almost like you knew my plans already... But how???

I need to get my post count up so I don't have to look at the stupid rules page every time I go to the classifieds section.

thanks! we don't have snow right now, had freezing rain this morning, that was fun. had 2 feet of snow and -10 degrees in november and it was 50 degrees and sunny in january so we've seen it all this winter. all the customizing on my truck lately has actually been taking it back closer to stock. it's a lot nicer to drive with no lift and the smaller tires. i miss the off-road look but it's a lot more useful to me now. i hope to put in a new motor in the next year or so. i've also been spending more time and money working on my 98 4runner so nothing big planned on the pickup, at least for a while.

I hear ya, Spokane, ...... wouldn't suggest otherwise, regarding taking her to stock again, trust me. I LOVE some of the beefy rigs on here. ...Just not for me, personally, at least until I have a spare "PLAY TOY" rig again, ya know? lol. I'm keeping mine on 31's, max... I just contemplated for weeks, but ended up with 31's instead of 33x10.50's. Going through the entire motor a couple times was fun... but I'm happy it's pretty much done too! lol.

Wow, crazy weather, man! Sure happy I live in SoCal some times, lol. When I was there, it was around 12' of Snow, 1st winter and less the next, but still BAD, lol. Our entire driveway was literally a Horseshoe tunnel, haha.(think it was 87). The back yard(lake front) was around 14" of ice on the ground, most of the winter, all the way from house to lake. CRAZY, lol. I remember pic-axing a path through the ice to the lake every time I got punished. hahaha.

Sorry for the tangent, guys,..... L8r for now,

Mark

That third pic is BA, IAN! lol. Really like that one... even the last one, though a lil blurry... very trippy. Nice! lol.

BTW, sorry you had to peel ice, man... that's rough at times, especially when RUSHED!

Pitcher of very VERY mild luke warm water slowly SLOWLY will fix that problem
