Really 85, formerly 81??? Dang, ...I've seen quite a few Silver, Tool Box Gray, black, Violet(that trippy blueish purple one?), even root beer brown(LOVE THAT ONE!)... but not alot of red ones. Cool, 81, .... maybe one day she will not elude you and you can SNAP A GOOD ONE OF HER! lol.

Actually, I'm hoping to get most of my IFS restore/mild-mod project covered between Christmas and my Birfday on Nov. 28th!(Big family, lol) That way, I can afford an Alarm and the first winter trip to the Sierra Hot Springs Trip done right...(Possible Cabin if it Blizzards out on me, lol)... with my own cabbage. hahaha. (don't like to go without having the CASH to pay for it... Not a big fan of DEBT! lol)

Some pictures from this week. Getting ready to go Geocaching, I was looking over the maps and checking the GPS.

Check out the "new" red doors, I just put them on a couple of weeks ago, got tired of missing with the electric windows, these are manual, they way any good beater should be!

more info on the flatbed, I kinda like it. Gives me an idea on redoing mine next summer. Looks like aluminum rails?

It has a rear spool. The front will get locked after the SAS. I need to get a set of real tires to.

It was on it when I got it. But the aluminum came from an old vans running boards! The bed itself has a standard steel frame and a wood deck. "I" bolts are installed in each corner of the bed to strap a four wheeler or lawn mower in place. Not super heavy duty, but it is not a big truck anyway...

I have found the flat bed to be very handy, more so than the rusted out hulk I had on my last truck.

welllll first I have to put the motor back in it....then just find an axle. Goal is to have it running again by spring. wheel it for the summer, then next winter do the sas. But who knows.
