i broke a CV....IN TOWN during an ice storm...had the '86 in 4HIGH just cruisin around town..lol

took off from a stop sign like normal...with no spinning of the tires going on (4" of ice on the ground..and my procomps hooked up GREAT)about 3 seconds after i took off...heard a loud POP from the front end..pulled over..and i could pull the driverside CV shaft out.....as in i reached under the truck..grabbed the cv...pulled it out and put it in the bed of the truck...yea.

i expected it to blow though...CV boot was ripped for about a month or so lol

 

personally i think the 2Door 4runner's just look weird and ugly.

his 4runner looks good! no doubt, but the not having rear doors thing would SUCK.

i love the 2doors look so much cooler and not having the back door isnt bad at all lol never had a problem having to push the front seat forward?

 

i love my two door, when its hella hot here in cali ill just take the side windows off and it looks bad ass lol they are sexy, people just are not used to seeing them around.

but yea dude the ruts were crazy, they were a good couple feet deep and i was just mashing through them lol mashing through those ruts was probably the dumbest idea ever tho cuz i broke the cv axle (both boots were torn), got a flat from a rock that got wedged between the bead of the tire and rim. i put on the spare to find out it was flat as well lol that day was alll bad hahahaha but it was fun.

Yea the flat spare was like icing on the cake. I don't wheel as much anymore tho, it's my daily driver so I can't afford to break stuff on it lol. I've burnt a clutch, broke the cvs, the flat, thrashed my front valence, and messed up my rear bumper when I landed on it once lol so I fixed it all and left a nice dent in my bank account hahaha plus I have my el camino as a main project, the runner was never supposed to be another project hahaha

 

haha cool i hear yah! wasnt ment to be a project lol when i bought my truck i was just going to drive it, now all i want to do is mod it and wheel it haha. the El Camino is probs pretty fun anyways hah
