I'm disliking my 3.0 more and more...

 

It is a Supra motor. I am a big single guy, Im thinking a Garret GT40. I have on on my car and really like it. I will go with a small A/R to keep spool early.
right now it has the stock turbos and in of those is dead. Still, it put down 330hp and 320ish tq.(cant remember right now). Im not looking for 600 rwhp, 400-425 should be good enough to break a few things. I need to set up a gear dependent boost controller, I can use 1/2 throttle in first and 3/4 in second without blowing the tires off (in 2wd). I ran a best of 13.2 at 100mph with a very poor 2.4 60 ft. this summer.

Hehe acctually, thank god, most of the work is behind. That's my new motor sitting in there, except I had to take the intake back off and timing belt and all, because I realized the friend I had rebuild the engine pulled the knock sensor out in the wrong spot :S So once I get that all bolted back up, all thats left is remounting the drive line, sticking the other assorted goodies back on and time to break in the new rods and bearings And then eventually some armor gears etc ...

I am a Celica fanatic, but not in the winter. I store my car for the season, and usually drive a beater. Well, last year I picked up this 1992 4Runner for $500 and had to replace the gas tank. Let me tell you a bit about it...

It has 210k miles (replaced head gaskets 10k ago), it has a blue cloth interior, Chrome package, running boards, sliding moon roof, rear heat, 31"tires, and rust. I have a system in it, 2 JL audio 12w3s, pioneer receiver, boston acoustic front components, Phoenix gold rear components, PG amp, 2.0farad cap, monster cable, and xm radio.

Just joined this forum to keep up with the tech with this beast! I am active on a celica board (www.celicatech.com) and you will always find me there.
