Looks great! I got my '88 for $1300. I bet you could get less than $1300, but don't offend him by going TOO low

Nice!!!!!! I'd give him $1,000. And prolly a lil slower than your '91 with 33's

That's what I'm running now and I can deal with it. I do plan on regearing to 4.88s when I can afford it tho. You'll get a little more clutch wear also.

x2. $900 sounds too low.

A 22re with a 5spd will handle 33's better than a 22re with an auto, but don't expect to win any races, or pull hills without down shifting a lot....
It would be a good idea to regear.

I can say 35's and 4.11's suck. I kinda wish I had 33's now in the snow.

I dont know if he'll take it. I called that guy a few weeks back when he had it listed for $1500. He said he is very slightyl neogtiable. Maybe he'll take $1100 the lowest for it. I wanted it but then again it wasnt a SR5. =( He had mentioned that the Truck has had rust repair on the body before. So there is bondo on it.

91FREERUNNER, where are you located? Just curious.

Yeah, but sometimes if you have cash in hand, that makes a difference.

you should have plenty of wheel clearance.

I've seen two cheap ones for sale in Mass. One for $800, and one for $600. Might have seen some decent stuff in the Providence, New Haven, and Hartford craigslist. Sometimes a little 2 or 3 hour drive is worth it =]

I picked this thing up for $600 the other day. Runs great. It's mechanically sound. Frame is good. The paint job is terrible, it has ass sag, wires are hanging out in places, center console is broken, trim is broken in a bunch of places, interior is dirty as hell, it has bondo on the back wheel wells, but who cares. It's only going to get beat on =]

Totally worth the $600! Maybe not much more =p

I'm painting it in a couple months. Might go with a bright yellow, black, or maybe metallic chestnut brown. Or maybe just the light metallic blue that it originally was so I don't have to paint the door jambs or anything =p

What color do you guys think looks best on a first gen 4Runner?
