Update: D-Ring Hangers and LED Blinkers

My friend made me some d-ring hangers. They are freakin sweet! I also put some LED blinkers into the grille.

Looks great, but remember that crossmember is much lighter steel than the frame and is only welded to it so be careful how much load you put on them.

not meanin' to be a kill joy here lol...

Since your friend is a good welder, consider beefing up that area. http://frontrangeoffroadfab.com/nfos...products_id=63

Wait so you blacked out your headlights by a plastic cover or spray on? Where did you get it?

Thanks-Blake

EDIT: I reread the thread and read you got them off of ebay. Is this the seller you bought them from? Also in your pics i see that your corner lights are also blacked out which leaves me to believe it is all one piece. Is this the case or am i wrong. Lastly how did you do your turn signals?

THanks-Blake

UPDATE: Several years later... No longer a poor college kid living at home spending all my money on little accessories here and there for my truck. Now I have a wife and a mortgage... It was actually kind of funny going through this and reading my old posts. Blue led dome light!? LOL. That will be the first thing to go... Truck had major engine problems and has been parked for a while. Finally have some money to get it up and running again. Considering putting a new motor in it and make it my daily driver again.

Mine went from a DD to sitting for 5 years. Was going to sell it but after I got it running I'm keeping it and tricking it out. 1992 with 65k miles, original owner.

Nice clean truck! Glad to see you held on to it all these years. I'm in a similar situation myself, but I was wondering if you know the brand of camper shell on your truck. I've got a cheap craigslist shell that *almost* fits. Yours seems like it's a perfect fit!
