Poll: Where does your oil pressure hang out at?

So, not so much me being in trouble as just curious. Im really curious about owners of the 3vze v6 engine.

me most of the time, after warm up. If that is a really bad representation, Imagine this. On the oil pressure gauge for the 3vze, you have the 1st tick which is just a little under half way up. I usually hang out right above it.

Make sense?

Ok, so is that normal? What do you other 3vze have?

This is with spec oil, I run 10w-40.
Yea, it messes up my digram.. so, I hang out just under half way, right past the 1st tick. This is driving usually arounf 2500 rpm... I dont push it. Gas expensive. When I floor it, say to pass it moves up to usually past the half way.

Pretty normal. The pressure will change from startup to idle and off idle. RPM of course will change pressure. Yours is in a good range IMO.

Mine runs quite a bit lower than that but for good reason. I have run nothing but Amsoil synthetic 0 W 30 for the past 140,000 miles or so and have always noticed significantly lower oil pressures at all RPMs than I had with mineral based oils that I used for the break in period (about 40,000 miles)

my 87 22re just above the niddle when driving or when cold, just above the 1/4 line on hot idle.

my 84 with 22r just above 1/4 when cold or driving, just above the low hot idle. but that gauge isnt accurate as it has 30psi on hot idle and 80 when driving

both have 10w30 in them, will be going back to 15w40 for the summer.

Mine hangs out with a bad crowd, usually at seedy bars until all hours of the night. I never know when it's going to be home, if it comes home at all...

Actually, when I had the 3.0, it usually was around the middle on warm up, then would drop by a quarter or so as it warmed. Like 4Mogger, it dropped a lot when I ran synthetic. It got to where I just decided to yank it and drop in the 3.4.
