plug 'n play mods

Hey guys,

What are the best plug n' play mods out there for a 1987 4runner?

SR5 gauges

that's all I got

although, that may require one wire ran, but well worth it

Would the SR5 dash go into a '91 Pickup that doesn't have an RPM gauge?

that's typically the point of doing the swap; to gain the tach, and the battery and oil pressure gauge

Now on SOME models, you'll have to run a wire for the tach to work, but lukily mine was pre-wired

haha i have this gauge but two of my lights dont work.

need to put new lights in it.

Sr5 Gauges are the way to go guys.

You could do the MAF from an 82 Supra. thats plug and play as well. I did the intake battery swap at the same time, but it wouldn't be necessary..... just cooler.

Check the write-ups. A lot of folks have done them on here and they give exact part numbers and all. Makes it pretty mindless to do.



Also, I threw on 3rd gen 4Runner rims, an easy, nice upgrade for the pitted out rims that came with it.

I still have the lense and aluminum bezel if anyone wants to purchase it it didn't sell on eBay that's a "plug and play" installation
