If this is in the wrong forum, please forgive me...

I have tried to order a plastic shifter plate, the one that goes over my trans. shifter, the one that has the "P", "R", "N", etc, etc...and also has the little 'red' indicator, that signifies 'what position your shifter is in'...I have tried to order this part from "toyotapartsales" and they keep messing up my order, today I think I finanly got it and they sent it to me without the little "red" sliding indicator, I don't get it...I sent them the part in a plastic bag with the broken indicator with the shift plate { just so they would get it right, when ordered, it is suppose to come all as one peice, sliding indicator and all.. } and they sent it back again without the RED sliding indicator... .

Do you guys have a place you order parts from that might be 'competent'.......?

[it's for a '95,4runner,auto,4x4, v6.....how simple can that be....]

 

Might be worth a trip to your local Toyota dealer. Bring the VIN number off the truck and the part and look it up on thier parts computer.
