Very nice truck!!! nice stance too, my truck looks about like that cept uglier!! hahah.

FWIW, most of the time offroad I am in 2wd (there is only mud in my part of texas ). and I have the same tires as you. You would really be surprised at how good it does in off-road conditions like that. Look at it this way. A good driver can do the same in a locked 2wd as a average driver can do in an open/open 4wd!!

In my group of friends I am the best driver. I never really get stuck, cept in a drive-wheels in the air condition. And I am usually the rescue truck!!!

Man I think my next mod is gonna be a hot chick on my tailgate
your trucks very clean, it took me a few seconds to figure out if it was 2WD or 4WD because of the stance but then I saw the fenders, I think itd look like a pre runner if you got some 4WD fenders on it, it would look really agrressive..

You can add power steering to your truck, its not hard. I added power steering to my 85 4x4 and what a big difference it made.

my 3vz yota gets up to speed very quick, and when i get to 100 shes smoother than when im driving 65 mph. i cant remenber the where the RPM levels are at when i hit 110 but i dont think no where near 4,500.

What was your rpm at said speed?
at 65mph mine are 3,000 (roughly)

Im looking in to Downey 3" bulge fiberglass fenders. I think it would look tough.

But I HATE the narrow front tire stance. I want a total chaos or the oldschool fabtech longtravel, but theyre damn expensive.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I appreciate what I have, and i take care of it all i can but it makes me sad that i cant give it full use offroad. She never see's dirt. I need some lockers and i could do some serious wheeling.

he meant 90mph.
Wheel spacers are bad news for lugs and hubs.

i was looking in to it, but i think im ganna opt for the normal 9.5 look.
haha. Unless someone can prove otherwise.

i don't know man......i've done a lot of asking around on and off this forum, and the general feeling is that they are fine on and off road. people run them for years without problems. search it on the forum and check out the 5 luggers that Marlin sells for your truck.

i'm about to get some 1.5" spacers myself because i don't want 12.5's but i want that wider stance. they're pretty safe....

Yeah, i may reconsider..Along with some downey fiberglass. I also hear they put more stress on the spindle.
I've heard the same you did, too. People run em without any problems..
Do you have to use a torque wrench? Or can you just hand tighten them?

Oh well its just that when it comes to truck reliability Mazda and Yota can go head to head (well for me)

True. Mazda pickups are pretty well made. But it's just not toyota...Its mazda. And of course, anything will be better if its 16 years newer..we're talking 200,000 original, 17 year old miles..And still running strong.

I just dont think many mazdas will do that.

Sorry but the Mazda is not much more than a rebadged Ranger. Ford owns (or did) a controlling interest in Mazda. Mazda has not had a decent truck since they used to put Rotary engines in them....
