Pic of 2nd gen Clear Taillights?!
#21
Yotafool, nice work! That looks great. A friend of mine painted his back up lights red on a red runner and that also looked cool. I would black out my tail lights but that is less legal than the clears from what I have herd and I talked to a guy that got busted for that. Anyway, nice idea. What kind of paint did you use any way?

And if possible, if anyone is nice enough to spend the time doing it I'd really really appreciate it, could you take a pic of the brake on and a turn signal? I'm iffy about dropping the cash but if it looks bangin I'll have to drop it. Thanks a lot.

Those are nice flamedx4 but they wont work on our 2nd gen 4runners. BTW you have a nice lookin pickup. I bet you have put some pennies into that thing.
Bike4miles, it was some tail light paint that my friend used on his BMW. He got it off ebay so i dunno the name of it.

See, check these before and after pics of before and after I replaced my backup lenses:
$100 later (not to mention the $350 for the bumper)
So if you really want it to look good with the tails, your going to have to fork over just as much cash for the backup lights. I had the faded ones on for a year with the clears and it drove me nuts.

You can only see the paint streeks if you get really close and it still doesnt look that bad. I also did a half fast job on it but still looks good.

They have them for any year and for pickups and 4Runners too. Good ol ebay... Those clear ones you're talking about are listed right now too.
